Cyber-bullying

This new trend in bullying is done through technology.  Common forms of cyber-bullying include using text-messaging, e-mailing, and social networking sites (Instant Messenger, chat rooms, MySpace, Facebook, etc.) to harass, threaten, and spread rumors about others.  If your student is being cyber-bullied, please document all instances.  Another important step parents and guardians can take to minimize cyber-bullying is to closely monitor your student's use of technology.
