Food and Nutrition Services offers the ability to pay for your meal account online!

Fee for an electronic check: $1.50
Fee for credit or debit card: $2.95 for every $100 loaded onto the account
Families are able to make a one time payment, biweekly payment, monthly payment or a low balance auto replenishment!
Funds are available for your student to use immediately after payment is made!
When creating the account, please note that you can either add your students by their student ID number, or your phone number. E-funds asks for your family ID, this is the phone number used in skyward. The number must be entered like this: (989) 624-XXXX.
All families are asked to fill out an Education Benefits Form. This helps our school get funding for all programs that benefit your student!
A quality child nutrition and food service program meets the nutritional needs of students with appealing meals at reasonable prices contributing to the students overall well-being and ability to learn. Birch Run Area Schools has a breakfast and hot lunch program offered daily. We offer two different entrees for breakfast. For lunch we offer three to five different entrees. In addition to the main entrée students have a choice of hot vegetables or vegetable bar, canned or fresh fruit, 1% white and fat free chocolate milk.
Breakfast Cost: FREE for all students! $3.00 for Adults
Lunch Cost: FREE for all students! $5.15 for Adults
Also, Birch Run Food Service is using a computerized system called SKYWARD to help us manage our student’s meal account. Each family has their own account. Parents need only to send one check with one child and all of your children can purchase meals from the family account. When a student enters his or her I.D. number their picture, name and if they have or owe money will show on the computer screen. Parents can also set limits on what they want their child to purchase. For instance, lunch only no ala cart. Remember this is a debit account not a credit account. Parents put money in the family account students will purchase food items using the account. Students may pay by the week, month or year. Money left in a family account at the end of the year will carry over to the following school year.
