District Vision

We will use Skyward Family Access for a lot of communication as well as rolling out student's schedules and report cards. Most of our communication will be online and utilize this information system.

Please use the following link to complete the form to register for access to Skyward Family Access. Please add all students attending Birch Run School District to this form. Be precise with the information entered into this form. Enter your child's full legal name when entering student information. Keep in mind that we do cross reference all information entered; if anything is entered incorrectly the request for access will be denied.

Working Together, Students Succeed

How the Foundation Works

The Foundation is governed by a volunteer board of trustees who are dedicated to educational excellence for all of our students. The trustees operate independently in helping to provide for project funding, selecting targeted projects, and dispensing funds. The added educational opportunities for the students, staff, parents, and the entire community can make the difference between a very good school system and an excellent one.

Foundation Goals:

The Foundation will achieve its mission by directing support toward the following goals:

1) To promote student development

2) To encourage employee creativity and excellence

3) To promote the School District as a center for parent involvement and community learning

About the Foundation

The Birch Run-Taymouth Educational Foundation was created in 1997 to compliment and enhance the educational opportunities of students enrolled in the Birch Run school system. By attracting donations from citizens and the business community, the Foundation can provide educational enrichment programs and special activities that are not normally financed with tax dollars. These added educational opportunities for students, teachers and parents can help stimulate our students in reaching exciting new goals of excellence.
